The word has been out for a long time, but Barbie has finally gotten a huge makeover. For a long time now, people have given Barbie a hard time for her disproportionate and unrealistic body shape. Now she comes in all kinds of shapes and sizes to reflect how diverse our bodies really are! There are now four body types: curvy, tall, petite, and original. Glamazons are glorious and Barbie knows that! All my sisters and I are very tall (standing over 6 foot!) It’s awesome to know that there are tall fashionista Barbie dolls. Sometimes I feel like people misunderstand how difficult it is being a woman and so tall, so it’s nice to see Barbie stepping it up.
Of course we have the original fashionista Barbie dolls. I kind of wish they had a little more diversity and didn’t have to include the original (since we have years of that.) Maybe later we will have sizes that are in between the current or shorter, taller, curvier, etc!
